It's been long enough, so as a special Christmas Treat, here's Alison Angel. 

Tis' Christmas once again this year
and I'll try to make this brief.
The blessings of the season bring
you and yours relief.

From cold, from hunger, from hardship too,
the stress this year has brought
May Christmas shatter, break, and do
even more than you had sought.

I can't think of anything more spectacular on Christmas Eve than a little dose of Ariel and one of her friends.  How can you go wrong?  After these two are done cavorting in the snow, hopefully they'll come inside where I can make them some hot chocolate and we can cuddle by the fire.  Merry Christmas!
